How do I shop on Black Book Fashion? 

Shopping on Black Book Fashion is very easy. We provide you with a wide range of designers and styles to choose from, all you need to do is select the items you wish to purchase, check the size guide and the right color and add it to your cart. Once you are ready to checkout, click on the cart icon to proceed to checkout or directly to checkout via the ‘Go to Checkout’ link. Once you've filled in your address and payment details the boutiques will be notified and the items sent directly to your adress, easy.

If you are overjoyed with your purchase, why not leave a review? After all, we are supporting independent designers, therefore don’t hesitate to share the love!

How do I find more information about a product?

Our designers will do their utmost to ensure that the item descriptions are as accurate as possible and provide you with the highest quality photographs. Should you have any other queries regarding sizes, colors or anything else, please contact the designer directly.

To contact the designer directly, click on the ‘Ask Designer a Question’ link and they will be more than happy to get back to you.

I am unsure about the size of the item I wish to purchase. What do i do?

Your first stop is the size guide that each designer has on the product page and to check the product descriptions. Here you can check how their sizes translate into international size standards. Should you have any other queries don't hesitate to contact the designers directly via the ‘Ask Designer a Question’ link.

SHIPPING

How long does it take for me to receive the items?

From the moment the order has been confirmed by the designer, it will take anywhere from 3- 10 days depending on your location and shipping method used by the designer. If the item is handmade please bear in mind that it will take longer before you receive your item.

If you purchased items from multiple shops, you will receive several packages. You will be able to track all items purchased through the airway bill number provided by each designer.

Where is my order?

Once the designer has confirmed your purchase you will be sent an airway bill number or tracking number for you to follow your item as it makes its way to you. Our designers work only with reputable shipping companies to ensure the shipment arrives safely and on time. 

Can I collect the items directly from the shop?

This is not possible. When you purchase an item from a designer, they will ship the item directly to you.

Are there additional shipping or customs duties on items purchased?

If items are bought internationally you may be liable to local taxes and import duties, which may be levied once the package arrives in your country. Since policies differ widely from country to country and are dependent on the source country, we have no control over these duties and taxes in the destination country. For further details please consult with your local tax and customs authorities.

How much do I pay for shipping?

The cost of shipping will depend on the shipping policy that the designer has. You will be notified at check-out the total shipping costs for all your items.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

How do I request an exchange or a refund?

We encourage all customers to check the refund and exchange policy of each individual designer prior to making a purchase. Once you purchase an item you are bound by the policy. Should a refund or exchange be possible, please ensure that the item is in its’ original condition and packaging. Then follow these steps to request a refund or an exchange:  

If you have an account on Black Book Fashion, please sign in and go to > My Account > My Returns > Request New Return > Select Order > Select Item. Choose a 'Resolution', select a reason for the return from the drop down and add a message to the seller.

If you bought the item as a guest, please click HERE and follow the steps to apply for the return. You will need to provide the email address with which you bought the item and the order number. If you are unsure about the item number, you can find it on your shipping confirmation and invoice. If you are still unsure, please contact us at [email protected]

The designer will be notified and if the refund or exchange is accepted, you will be sent further instructions. Generally return shipping fees are paid for by the customer unless the designer wishes to refund the item and the return shipping costs. In this case the designer will advise prior to shipment what they will be refunding.

What if a seller refuses to accept a refund?

Should you feel that you are not receiving a refund or exchange that you are entitled to, please contact Black Book Fashion to escalate the matter. Prior to this, ensure that you have followed the correct procedure as detailed above on returning items. Ensure that you have provided all supporting evidence and have understood the policies of the individual designer. After contacting the seller and if the issue remains unresolved contact us at [email protected] and we will immediately look into it. 

The designer is not responding to me? 

Please ensure that you have contacted the boutique directly through your Black Book Fashion account or through the guest returns page. If you do not get a response within a reasonable amount of time then please send your invoice to [email protected] and we will look into it for you.

PAYMENT 

How does the currency conversion work?

All transactions on Black Book Fashion are made in euros. If you are paying from another currency a currency conversion will take place. Please check with your bank or card provider what fees and conversion rates apply for such transactions.

I am having problems paying

Make sure you have sufficient funds on your credit or debit card or your PayPal account. Please also ensure that your billing adress is linked to your card and has been entered correctly. Your 3 digit CV2 number on the reverse side of your card must also be entered correctly.

Is it safe to buy online at Black Book Fashion?

When you purchase products from Black Book Fashion all your personal details and credit card and other payment information is processed outside of our servers. Black Book Fashion works with both PayPal to process all payments. This means that your credit card details never touch our servers and are processed directly through their encrypted servers and your bank or credit card issuer. We never store or receive your credit card details.

Can I leave feedback after having bought an item?

Of course, we encourage all feedback! If you wish to leave a review on the designer go to boutique page, on the item go to account management.  

What do i do if an item is sold out? 

If this happens please click the ‘contact me’ icon on the page. You will receive an email as soon as the item is back in stock. We also encourage you to follow the designer by clicking on the FOLLOW button. This will you will be notified of any news regarding the designers, new collections and other promotions.
