Returns and Exchange Policy
Do you offer exchanges?
Yes we do! You can exchange an item for a different size or color. Alternatively, should you wish to exchange an item for another one, it must be the same value. All return shipping will be paid for by the customer.
We only accept exchanges if the following requirements are met:
- The item/s are returned within 3 days of you receiving them.
- The item/s must be in their original condition, with all tags in place.
- Undergarments must be worn when trying on items.
- Item/s must not have been worn, washed or altered in any way.
- Please choose carefully - returns for exchange of size can only occur once. As we are a made to order company with a two to three week make time, it is beneficial once you exchange your item for a better suited size, to read the size chart and select the new size carefully.
- We cannot accept any returns that do not meet these requirements.
- You must include a prepaid express postbag (with tracking) for us to return your items in.
Do you offer refunds?
We only offer refunds on faulty items. If you receive damaged or faulty goods, please contact us immediately on Black Book Fashion so we can personally assist you and sort out your problem as quickly as possible.
Do you do alterations?
Yes we do! If you would like us to make alterations, we offer this service free of charge. However, all shipping is paid for by the customer.
Who covers the return shipping?
The shipping costs for exchanging items are paid for by the customer. If the item is faulty, we will reimburse all the shipping costs. For our free alteration service, the customer covers the shipping costs.
How long does it take for my exchange or refund to be processed?
For an exchange of size - if we have stock on hand, we will send out your new size/s within 3-4 working days. In most cases we will not have stock on hand so the item will need to be recut and made for you again. A new tracking number will be issued to you via email. If you are returning a faulty item for a refund – and it is deemed faulty by the manufacturer, we will refund you through your original payment method as soon as possible upon receiving the item.
What if my order arrives damaged or there is a fault?
Whilst we hope this never happens, if you do receive damaged goods, or a manufacturing fault has occured, please contact us immediately via the Black Book Fashion returns platform so we can personally assist you and sort out your problem as quickly as possible.
